“Trading conditions in the landscaping industry remain very tough”, says event director Steven Callaghan, “many of our major exhibitors are struggling to commit and this has been making it difficult for us to achieve our goal of significantly growing the show for 2011”.
The event is now scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd of February, 2012 – “ the recession has seen a number of popular shows simply move back a year” said Callaghan and he refuses to rule out a permanent move to bi-annual scheduling for the show, “some very popular and successful events are run on this basis. The Hard Landscaping Show is very specialist and that is its real appeal to exhibitors and visitors alike”.
He adds, “we are very sorry to disappoint those exhibitors that have already contracted for the 2011 show and look forward to welcoming them together with the many visitors that have already pre-registered in 2012”.
