Quality visitors

Italy based Simex, which produces attachments for the earthmoving machines market, is the latest company to secure its stand space at the forthcoming SED exhibition
Despite a smaller show this year, Simex was very impressed with the quality of visitors, proving the old adage that ‘size isn’t everything’. Here’s what Simex’s general manager assistant, Federico Tamburri had to say.
“SED2009 has been a special show because of the peculiar situation of the market, not only in UK of course. We came from a very big exhibition booth in 2008 and we were quite surprised when we got to Rockingham this year. After the show started we then realized that sometimes dimensions does not count so much, since even if the area of the show was quite reduced, the number of visitors reached a good level.”
Tamburri continued, “What I have been personally struck by was the excellent quality of the visitors. The people were not simply curious to see our attachments; the people knew what they wanted. Our planers are nowadays an important reality across the country and well known for their quality and productivity.
Simex will be bringing the company’s wheel saw (pictured) to SED 2010 along with its CB bucket crusher range, which has recently been completed, with the introduction of the ninth in the range the CB3500.
