Plant for Life

PlantforLife has teamed up with Channel 4’s ‘Landscape Man’ and garden designer Matthew Wilson, to develop the ‘Urban Guide to the Good Life’ to encourage people in the city not to give up their dream of the ‘Good Life’ and having a greener, more sustainable lifestyle. The guide, which has been launched to the media, provides tips and simple steps that can be taken no matter what size and type of outdoor space available.

The booklet was produced in response to recent PlantforLife research which revealed that nearly half (45%) of people in the city have dreamt of leaving their hectic lives behind to lead a more fulfilling (39%) sustainable (29%), and greener life (23%) in the country[i].

HTA Promotions Manager Jennifer Baggaley comments “Matthew’s top ’Good Life’ tips include; growing fruit and veg in small containers and hanging baskets – ideal for rooftops or balconies, making mini greenhouses, home composting and many more ideas to encourage sustainability within people’s own homes and inspire people to make the most of the space they have.”
Customers can log on to www.plantforlife.info/goodlife to download the ‘Urban Guide to the Good Life’ to take along to their local garden centre, to help them find what plants and garden features they can buy to help them on their way to the good life.
