ISS Facility Services Landscaping has successfully ‘hoisted’ 16 Green Flags this year in partnership with their local authority clients up and down the country.
Green Flag successes include Hotham Park in Bognor Regis, affectionately dubbed the ‘People’s Park’ by the thousands of residents and visitors who use it every week, retaining its flag for the fourth year; Mewsbrook Park in Littlehampton, retaining its flag for the ninth successive year; Grenfell Park in Maidenhead which this year became the seventh Royal Borough park to be awarded a Green Flag, and Vulcan Park in Workington which has, in previous years, been in the running to be named one of the Top 10 Green Flag sites in the country.
ISS continue to support their clients in conserving and improving their green spaces, setting new standards for distinction and demonstrating best practice solutions for dealing with local challenges. The Green Flag Award Scheme recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. It encourages excellence and promotes progressive improvement in the quality of our parks and open green spaces.
