New Landini models are making their debut at the show The 54hp Landini 1-55M and the heavier-duty 1-75M and 1-90M at 74hp and 91hp, respectively, are from an extensive Landini range supplied to the ARGO Tractors operation by leading compact tractor maker Daedong. The full line-up, comprising nine models with transmission and platform/cab options providing 17 variants in total, starts at 22hp and gives plenty of power options up to the range-leading 91hp machine.
A key feature for all security-conscious operators is that UK distributor AgriArgo fits the CESAR Datatag theft-deterrence system as standard on all the tractors it supplies. In addition, the new Landini models are covered by a generous two-year warranty and supported by an extensive parts stock held at AgriArgo UK’s Harworth base near Doncaster, the headquarters factory in Italy and Daedong’s own European parts operation in Holland.
While the smallest models in the range will doubtless prove popular for their light weight and small size, the 54hp Landini 1-55M fits the bill where a bit more substance is needed.
The tractor’s 2.2-litre Daedong four-cylinder diesel generates 54hp, which is channelled through a 12 forward, 12 reverse speed synchro shuttle transmission. For powered implements, the oil-immersed pto clutch ensures smooth take up of power.
Portal front axle drive gives extra grip when needed, as well as good ground clearance, while the 1200kg of rear linkage lift gives it the capacity to handle a range of implements.
An open platform is available for operators keen on plenty of fresh air or need a low overall height for access. But with its modern curved glazing and easily cleaned interior, the optional cab provides both stylish and practical weather protection.
Moreover, its flat, clear floor makes life easy for an operator who has to repeatedly get on and off, while the standard heating, air-conditioning, radio and roof hatch make it a comfortable place of work.
A similar cabin is fitted as standard to the two tractors at the top of the Landini 1 Series. Powered by work-proven Perkins 4.4-litre diesel engines developing 74hp and 91hp, they are clearly built to handle more demanding operations.
With 83-litre/min hydraulics, 2400kg lift capacity and ground-drive pto in addition to independent two-speed power take-off, these are very capable utility tractors with plenty of performance potential for their size and weight.
Both versions weigh in at 3.5 tonnes, which can be concentrated on traction tyres for maximum grip or spread over flotation turf tyres for minimum compaction.
The Landini 1-75M comes with a 12×12 synchro shuttle transmission that can be upgraded to include four creep speeds for specialist implements – a configuration that is standard on the 1-90M.
