The Ariens Sno-Thro is the perfect machine to clear paths and drives of hotels, municipal buildings, golf and country clubs, and large country estates.
The Sno-Thr will handle all types of snow, from dry fresh power, to compacted, frozen and even heavy wet slush. The serrated front blades, or augers, break up the snow and feed it back into a heavy-duty impeller located behind the blades. The impeller serves to break up the snow into a fine flow, and blow the snow out of the steel chute. The chute can be rotated to allow the snow to be directed. The discharge chute is higher to allow snow to be thrown accurately up to 15m.
The Ariens Compact 24 has a 60cm clearing width and is equipped with a 205cc, 900 Series Polar Force engine. Maximum flow efficiency uses all available horsepower to provide higher discharge capacity and increased throwing distance and a large-diameter impeller eliminates any restriction in flow.
The all-steel construction of major components mean durability. Extra steel is used in critical areas of operation such as drive shafts and auger gears. Reinforced and fully-welded frames, coupled with large diameter axles/gear case shafts provide stability during operations, and a heavy duty cycle drive train guarantees years of reliability and performance. Folding tubular steel handlebars make it easy to store away between winters.
