As budgets get cut and capital expenditure becomes restricted national parts distributor Central Spares forecast an increase in replacement parts business for the forthcoming season.
Since the launch of their 2011 catalogue which has been increased to over 600 pages, marketing manager Colin Gale told The Landscaper – ‘the interest created by our new edition has been overwhelming – with requests for copies ahead of the same period last year. We have in particular seen a dramatic increase in replacement parts sales to the landscapers and contract gardener over the last few months’.
The 2011 edition includes 33 pages of genuine Briggs & Stratton parts all individually photographed for ease of identification. Following two years of negotiations with Briggs & Stratton – Central are particularly pleased to be appointed an approved distributor for their range of genuine parts and engines. The range of replacement batteries for ATV’s and UTV’s have been widened.
