Autoguide Equipment based in Wiltshire, has added to its range of groundcare and construction equipment with the Mini and New Midi Post Masters.
These attachments for mini excavators and Skid Steer loaders are ideal for both large and small jobs- especially where access is limited
The range covers machine in the 1.5 to 5 tonne size, with simple two pipe attachment and capable of driving posts 150mm (Mini) or 200mm (Midi) diameter. Rock spikes are available for hard ground and the ability to extract posts (as well as the rock spike) is really useful.
The attachment hydraulically clamps the post before the twin shaft vibrator (only transmitting vertical movements) starts to drive it in.
Whilst the standard jaws accept a wide range of posts, they are always pleased to make specials and have recently developed a clamp for driving pre sawn posts for ‘diamond’ fencing. Posts can be round, square or rectangular, made from wood, steel, concrete, plastic of fibreglass.
Autoguide have developed special piles and special clamps to suit the variety or rolled steel posts used for solar farms. A two man team can easily achieve up to 100 posts per hour with excellent accuracy in a wide variety of soils.
