Citroën has been voted Green Van Manufacturer of the Year at the prestigious Fleet Van Awards 2010 ceremony held in London. In addition, the Citroën Nemo gained a Highly Commended in the City Van of the Year category and the Berlingo secured a Highly Commended in the Small Van of the Year class.
Citroën’s strong environmental credentials, including the use of exceptionally fuel efficient, low emission HDi diesel engines – with up to 30% bio-diesel compatibility – and across the board availability of Trafficmaster Smartnav – with real-time fleet management capability to help reduce fuel use, carbon footprint and costs – were amongst the key strengths considered by the Fleet Van Awards judging panel. In awarding Citroën the Green Van Manufacturer of the Year title, this panel of major fleet operators and independent van experts, also considered the Company’s wide choice of clean, economical LCVs and its unique Ready to Run range of Dual Fuel (petrol/LPG) vans.
