KSL Surfacing of Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, has been commissioned by contractors English Landscapes and Hewlett to supply surfacing for the prestigious new Media City development in Salford Quays, the second largest construction site in the UK after the Olympic Stadium.
Once completed, the development will provide an exciting new media hub for the region and a new home for the BBC.
The contract is particularly satisfying for the company in representing repeat business from two contractors with whom KSL has worked on previous projects.
In all, KSL will be supplying a 2,000 combined tonnes of Road Base Binder Course and Surface Courses for roads, footpaths, access and egress.
