Over £2million…….Hasmead Plc landscape

Hasmead Plc have won two major landscape contracts. The two contracts are with ISS Facilities Services at BAA Stansted and DTZ for properties in the South of England. The contracts are worth over £2million pounds over the next three years. Stansted Airport is the UK’s third busiest airport.This contract is to run for 5 years and includes management and maintenance of nearly 1500 hectares of land. Management of the airfield habitat including composting over 3000 cubic metres of grass waste, ancient woodland conservation areas; Triple SSSI woodland and the Fen. Activities will include timber harvesting, newt migration and habitat creation, and tending the surrounding airport verges which include wildflowers such as bluebells, pyramid and bee orchids. In addition Hasmead will manage operations at the Stansted Airport sustainable green waste composting centre.

In the UK they manage over 570 buildings of all descriptions ranging from offices and retail outlets to industrial units and residential accommodation. The Hasmead contract with DTZ runs for 3 years and includes a full range of landscape maintenance activities comprising of grass cutting, litter collection, gritting of paths and roads and tending of beds and borders across many sites within the
