MyGardenSchool is a new on-line horticultural classroom.
Courses are booked on-line, with the wide range of 4week courses starting on 30thApril, and running monthly throughout the year, at a cost of £120.
Courses comprise 4 weekly lectures via video tutorial and in written form; students are set assignments which they upload to MyGardenSchool where they are marked by the tutors. Utilising the latest multi-media technology, the courses comprise high quality videos and visuals as well as expert and interesting content to help students enjoy learning more. Each course features its own forum in “The Common Room” area of thewebsite giving students the chance to chat to both their peers and their tutors.
Managing Director Elspeth Briscoe says:“With the sun starting to shine and the many flower shows including Chelsea around the corner we feel our launch is well timed. Our courses are designed for both the complete novice and the gardening professional who wishes to learn more about a particular area.”
