RECO have recently appointed a new managing director to take over from existing executive of 27 years– Richard Ruston. John Walls officially started with the company earlier this summer and will work together with Richard to facilitate a smooth hand-over phase up until Richard’s official retirement date in September 2010.
Mr Walls joins RECO from his former position of Managing Director at Newark-based family-owned business The Barcode Warehouse where he was responsible for driving the business forward from £6m turnover to £16m in 4 years. His appointment is part of a long term succession plan to take the RECO group to the next stage of its development.
Richard will take the position of Executive Chairman, and whilst still being closely involved with the business, it will be John who will facilitate the development of the company over the coming years.
