Green Dragon Play – a new generation of children’s playground design to beat boredom and obesity – has been developed by surfacing supplier Notts Sport.
The Green Dragon Play concept represents a creative implementation of Notts Sport’s popular ChildsPlay surfacing system.
It features ground forms and surface markings that inspire youngsters to spread their wings and take 
pleasure in imaginative play.
Shaun Patrick, chairman of Notts Sport, says:: “Green Dragon Play tackles the issue of dumbed-down play areas and childhood obesity head-on.
Too many of today’s installations are designed more to avoid litigation than to provide fun and as a result, children simply aren’t using them.
“We have invested a great deal of time finding out what children enjoy, and found this emphasis on surface play has great play value. Children are already equipped with the essential tools for play – their bodies and imaginations.”
