Mottram Hall Golf Club now has precise control of the water on its course, thanks to the TrunkPump from Campey Turfcare. Flooding can be cleared or irrigation water moved at the flick of a tractor pto switch.
Estate and Golf Course Manager Stuart Stenhouse explains: “I had a water pump before but it was just 3cm capacity. We needed something that was portable and versatile and could move large or small quantities of water. The TrunkPump came up in a casual conversation with Campey Turfcare’s Simon Gumbrill, and after seeing a demonstration, I ordered one straight away.”
Stuart uses the TrunkPump to pump water out of a large irrigation lake, clear bunkers and in any other areas where water needs to be moved. “It is highly versatile, and so compact.”
