Ethical & Sustainable Landscaping ….. Seminar March 6

Landscapers and garden designers have just 3 weeks left to book their places at the APL Networking Seminar which takes place next month. The seminar’s theme of Ethical & Sustainable Landscaping is proving popular with places selling out fast and so those wishing to attend are encouraged to book now to secure their spot.
The APL are hosting the seminar and networking event at Classiflora, Essex on the evening of Wednesday 06 March 2013 for APL members and industry folk to get together to listen, learn and share experiences within the landscaping industry.
Delegates will benefit from a bundle of lively and informative talks on a wide range of topics including the benefits of living roofs and wild flower meadows, the new Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) legislation and using the right plants to improve water management.
Experts speaking on these subjects include Angela Lambert from Q Lawns who will explain how a well-designed living green roof or flower meadow can help support wildlife, along with a whole host of other benefits. Gino Bracco, Sales Director of Natural Paving products will offer insight and advice on the sustainability of natural paving and how ethically sourced stone benefits the environment.
The seminar is complemented by Classiflora’s open days giving attendees the opportunity to take advantage of a Q&A session with popular garden writer and broadcaster Monty Don at 2pm and a tour of the Classiflora site at 3pm before the seminar commences at 4:30pm.
Following the seminar there will be a buffet and refreshments along with additional networking opportunities to meet other landscapers and designers until the event closes at 8pm.
