Dramatic impact – Chelsea Flower Show

Innovative uses of hard landscaping materials from Bradstone were showcased in a stunning Silver-Gilt Flora award winning urban garden designed by the Chris Beardshaw Mentoring Scholarship (CBMS) team at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
As part of the company’s sponsorship of the CBMS, Bradstone, an Aggregate Industries business, has provided materials for ‘Dawn Chorus’ which has been designed by award winning garden designer Chris Beardshaw and scholar Lindsay Anglin. The design aims to capture the beauty of a garden at first light.
Key features of ‘Dawn Chorus’ included materials from Bradstone’s made to order range, demonstrating the scope of what can be achieved through bespoke products. Stone lintels were used to striking effect in the deck, stepping stones and wall of the garden. Limestone shards emphasised direction in the water pool and Limestone Tuscan columns of varying heights highlighted how simple stone features can have a dramatic impact. Enviromasonary blocks, which are a market leading range of sustainable aggregate masonry, and Cotswold slates complemented the planting.
