Maggie Barrows has joined Polaris Britain as Marketing Co-ordinator bringing with her a special
set of credentials, namely in beer, music and football. Previously in a marketing position with a very well known brewery she then moved on to the sponsorship side where she looked after the Carling Academy music venues across the country and Carling Cup deals. Her success in these areas led to running a department concerned with getting nine speciality beers into the market, involving strategy and the associated promotional activity. Her experience in a large, blue chip company was what Polaris was looking for, coupled with her energy and event management skills. One of her first tasks will be to co-ordinate the Polaris dealer days in December with the launch of a range of new products. “It’s an exciting time to be joining Polaris with what is planned for 2010 in the ATV and Side x Side market,” she says but she’s not giving anything away about the new models. Maggie is looking forward to helping develop the Polaris brand and increasing the levels of dealer and customer support.
