Avisford Park Golf Club near Arundel, West Sussex lies within the grounds of the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel. It was acquired in 2006 by SportsTurf Management which is owned by Richard Stillwell. His son George is Assistant Head Greenkeeper. Two separate nine hole courses aged ten and twenty years respectively have been blended into one 18 hole course.
Two very different soil profiles on each original course have required a dedicated and professional approach to create a level of consistency throughout.
Following successful trials of Crocodile Golf Products cutting equipment, Richard Stillwell commented on the improvements in the quality of the finish, the durability and the easy fitment of the Crocodile product.
