Cleveland Land Services (CLS) have been awarded the contract to install synthetic pitch works, fencing and landscaping for Bede Sixth Form College,
The world-class facilities will benefit students and staff alike and the introduction of a sports centre will broaden the curriculum even further.
The main contractor Morgan Ashurst is overseeing the total reconstruction of the new facilities at Bede and has appointed CLS to be responsible for installing the latest generation ‘Desso Ambition’ Synthetic Turf football pitch alongside several natural turf pitches and all the necessary fencing.
Although the Desso Ambition has not been used in the UK CLS were confident about installing the new pitch. “Following an extended visit to an installation in Holland last year to look at how the Desso Ambition pitches have been accepted in Europe, we were delighted to be given an opportunity to create a ‘state of the art’ synthetic pitch in the UK.” says managing director John Miller.
