Banyards has been acquired by English Landscapes for an undisclosed sum.
English Landscapes is a national, independent provider of landscape maintenance, street cleansing and horticultural construction services, with a Newbury headquarters, 795 staff and a turnover of £40 million.
The company wanted to acquire a strong business within the central south region, which coincided with former Banyards MD Paul Edwards’ desire to exit and sell the business.
Banyards, with a staff of 79 and a turnover of £3 million, will add specialist tree surgery and interior landscaping skills to the group and its experience will help English Landscapes expand in those areas throughout the UK.
