Chosen as winner….Chelsea Flower Show

Amanda Shipman has been chosen as the winner of the design competition, in conjunction with Inchbald School of Design, to create a concept for The Dalerush Workshop stand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Amanda graduated in 2009 with an Inchbald Diploma in Garden Design and was selected for her colourful, commercial design for the garden.
The judging was undertaken by Alex Denman, RHS Chelsea Flower Show Manager together with Andrew Duff, Director of Inchbald School of Garden Design and Michael Parmar, Director of The Dalerush Workshop. Students were asked to design an innovative garden that would showcase the breadth of products and maximise sales of the Dalerush furniture. Alex looked for a good framework for the furniture and commended Amanda’s entry for its clean lines and clear visual goals. She thought that the design would work well as it allowed people to flow freely through the garden and admire the different pieces which are all important criteria for The Dalerush Workshop.
