Fineturf to host Show

The Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA) has announced that Fineturf will host its 2013 Turf Show.
The biennial event will be held at the 135 acre turf farm run by Simon Hutton, at Honington, near Grantham, Lincolnshire, on Tuesday 9th July, with a turf show dinner that evening at the nearby De Vere Belton Woods Hotel.
Focusing on all aspects of turf production, the show attracts growers from as far afield as Italy, Slovenia, Norway, Australia and the USA who visit to see demonstrations of the latest machinery and product innovations used in the growing and harvesting of quality cultivated turf.
TGA Chief Executive Tim Mudge said that the association was looking forward to the event: “This is the second time that Fineturf has hosted the show, and we know Simon and his staff will do a great job. The main draw is undoubtedly the opportunity to see specialist equipment at work and visitors will be able to see machinery working throughout the day.”
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to host next year’s Turfgrass Growers Show,” Simon Hutton (pictured) added. “We’ve supported the TGA throughout and hosted the show back in 2005. We’re looking forward to showcasing our great UK turf industry again in 2013. We welcome exhibitors and industry visitors old and new and promise that there’ll be something for everyone”
