Hanix H16D and H17D are compact and well balanced excavators with a shortened turning radius. The H17D is an extendible track version of the H16D, and comes with a long dipper arm as standard. With a compact width of just 990mm, both of these machines can be transported on a standard trailer and are readily manoeuvrable on-site. With expanding tracks and dozer blade extending to 1,300mm wide, the H17D is exceptionally stable on all terrains, and boasts an impressive dig depth of 2495mm, with dumping height of 2435mm. A powerful, reliable, 11.4kW Kubota diesel engine combines with variable output piston pumps, maximising machine power to match the workload.
The ergonomically-designed cab provides increased legroom, excellent all-round visibility, and a wide doorway for easier entry and exit. A fully adjustable fabric seat is linked with responsive joystick controls, and includes an integral soft wrist support. Two-speed travel and straight line tracking is selected at the touch of a button, and PTO and boom swing speed is proportionally adjusted by a thumb-operated switch on the joystick.
Re-fuelling is carried out without the need to open covers, and a large fully-opening engine cover provides easy access for regular daily checks. A two-piece dozer hose simplifies replacement, and simple ‘plug-in’ connections, sited on the dipper arm, facilitate trouble-free connection to PTO lines for hydraulically powered attachments.
