Paul Rochford, of Joseph Rochford Gardens is on his travels again to raise £25,000 for Tree Aid and the Kanyike Project. The quest on this occasion is Mt Denali, in Alaska. This will be Paul’s 4th of the 7 Summits; these comprise the highest mountains on each of the earth’s continents.
Mt Denali, which stands at 20,320ft, will be the toughest and most demanding climb Paul has attempted due to its proximity to the Polar Regions and abrupt changes in weather conditions. Temperatures regularly descend to minus 50 even in the summer!
