APF 2010, the UK’s largest forestry, woodland and arboricultural show held recently at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire in September welcomed a record number of visitors during the 3 days of the show- 16700 visitors came through the gates and increase of 700 on the 2008 exhibition.
Ian Millward, the Exhibition Secretary told The Landscaper “We are absolutely delighted at the record turnout at a time when many shows have seen a substantial drop in visitor numbers. Our exhibitor numbers were the same as in 2008. We are pleased that the hard work of all our team has been reflected in these figures.”
Most exhibitors reported doing great business with many firm orders being placed at the show. One new stump grinder manufacturer had over 125 enquiries for their new product.
